No matter where a person travels, apart from its beauty, he seeks for new flavors and aromas that will touch him and be imprinted in his memory. In the central port of Chios, Tsikoudo, a traditional tavern awaits you. It was created in 2006 by Marinos, Kostas Haviaros' father who was a sailor.
The choice of the name highlights the uniqueness of the restaurant as the tsikouda which are the fruits of the tsikoudia tree are produced only in Chios island. In autumn, the fruits of the tsikoudia ripen, which are particularly tasty and are the favorite snack of the locals, break them in the mouth in a characteristic way, in order to eat their insides. The tsikouda have a very important value because in the past the locals made a very healthy oil in a traditional way which nowadays is difficult to find.

The tasteful journey at tsikoudo starts from the central port of Chios in a neat, simple and warm aesthetic space.
